Hi, I’m Linda Panek. I am a qualified counsellor working as an Associate of Rotherham Counselling Services, and having my own practice (Oasis-time Counselling). I completed my Professional Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy in 2016. Being an integrative counsellor means that I can adapt to the needs of the individual client and use different skills and tools to find appropriate ways of working with each person. At heart, my work is based on person centred values, believing that the client is the expert in their own life, and therefore I aim to work alongside you to help you find the answers you need in your unique situation. I work with individual adults of any age, providing both short term and longer-term therapy. I enjoy helping people recover from depression, find ways to manage anxiety, boost self-esteem, confidence, and assertiveness, make sense of their relationships, come to terms with losses, bereavements, and life changes. Other areas I can help with are work stresses and bullying, infertility, miscarriage, divorce, and relationship breakdown, coping with aging parents. In addition, I also help people recover from emotional abuse and narcissistic relationships, which are so damaging. I have made a particular study of this area and have been able to help several clients through this. I aim to provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space for clients to explore their situation. I can help you make sense of things and help you build your resources, resilience, and skills so that you have what you need for the future. I am a member of The National Counselling Society (MNCS) and follow their ethical framework for good practice. This includes having regular monthly supervision and continual professional development. Alongside my counselling I am completing my training as a coach and expect to be available to provide Life Coaching from September 2020 onwards. NCS registration number NCS19-08668.
